Who we are
PG Masonry Conservation Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a specialist heritage masonry conservation practice based at 64–66 Westwick Street, Norwich, NR2 4SZ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration reference ZC170036.
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we use it, and what rights you have over it — whether you're a website visitor, an enquiry, or a client we've done work for.
What we collect
| Source | What's collected | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Website contact form | Name, email, phone (optional), property type, your message | To respond to your enquiry |
| Phone or email enquiry | Name, contact details, details of your building and the work you're asking about | To assess the enquiry and provide a quote |
| Confirmed jobs | Name, address, contact details, invoicing information | To carry out the work, invoice, and meet our accounting/legal obligations |
| Site photography | Before/during/after photographs of the property (the building, not people) | Condition records, method statements, and — with your agreement — case studies |
We do not use cookies, analytics, or any tracking technology on this website. We don't buy in marketing lists or share your details with anyone for their own marketing purposes.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide quotes
- To carry out, document, and invoice confirmed work
- To meet our legal obligations — for example, retaining financial records for HMRC
- With your specific agreement, to use photography of completed work as a case study or in marketing material
Who we share it with
We use a small number of third-party services to run the business, each only processing what's needed for their function:
Formspree
Processes the website contact form submission and forwards it to us by email.
Google Workspace
Our business email and document storage.
QuickBooks
Invoicing and financial records.
Netlify
Hosts this website.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone outside of running the job and the business itself. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK/EEA — where they do, they operate under their own recognised data protection safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't turn into a job are kept for a reasonable period in case you get back in touch, then deleted. Financial records connected to confirmed jobs (invoices, quotes) are kept for at least 6 years, as required by HMRC. Site photography connected to a completed job is kept as part of our project records unless you ask us to remove it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your data (subject to our legal obligation to keep certain financial records)
- Object to how we're using your data, or ask us to restrict it
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data — ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
